OK so this morning, I dreamed my husband went grocery shopping and bought me a big box of Lucky Charms and I was happyhappyhappy. I'm not sure what to think of this spate of breakfast cereal dreams. I guess maybe I want to eat some cereal.
Here is a list of cereals that are the best, according to me (in no particular order):
Peanut Butter Crunch
Lucky Charms
Chex, Rice or Corn
Corn Flakes, with or without bananas
Honeycomb
Honey Bunches of Oats (awful name, goooood cereal)
Honorable mentions:
Cookie Crisp
Kaboom!
Boo Berry
Corn Pops
Rice Krispies
Crunchberries (before all the weird new berry colors started showing up)
Puffed Wheat (fun to stick on things)
Which one:
Super Sugar Crisp or Sugar Smacks?
Cocoa Pebbles or Cocoa Puffs?
Fruity Pebbles or Trix?
Something I just realized is that a lot of TV commercials for cereal involve one or more persons or cartoon characters stealing or withholding cereal from other persons or cartoon characters. Examples: Barney stealing Fred's Fruity Pebbles, kids stealing Lucky's Lucky Charms, kids withholding Trix from Silly Rabbit, etc. This sends, I think, a strange message that cereal should be coveted and not shared. I am in complete agreement.
